Jack:
What Jack is representing in this chapter is the loss of hope for almost all the boy and the loss of humanity. The Boys (excluding Ralph, Piggy, Samneric and some of the little ones) are growing more and more like animals. They aren't caring about what their doing as long as their having 'fun' and have food in their stomach.
Ralph:
Ralph in this chapter represents the hope that still is hanging there by a thread. He's caring about what happening to others and he's trying to be the bigger one and be the watchful eye for everyone. He's taking on all the responsibility because no one else is.
Piggy:
Piggy represents the brains. He has been able to keep Ralph in check. If it wasn't for Piggy, Ralph would have most likely left and go along with Jack. But because Piggy has been there to help Ralph remember what is needed and what needs to be done.
